This is hardy canadian rose that supposedly should withstand our Northeast Ohio winters. Looks like it has survived first winter, will see what's going to happen this year. Unfortunately this rose doesn't give me its beauty in the quantity I wish (might be my fault after all), it has incredible peach-rose-apricot color that I just can't get enough. Here are some pictures of this rose in a tiny vase on my deck. I figure out that if I cut them, they will please my eye for a longer time than sitting in a soil a hundret feet away from me, also, theoretically, cutting or deadheading should force flowering, right?!
I love your flower stories! So creative! On tulips... you sure it's not your animal neighbors eating them up?
ReplyDelete..Should I open investigation? :) Well - I can forgive them, I hope they enjoyed it at least.:)
